Art Resource Team
is proudly featuring the work of
Glenna Adkins.
Glenna, whose artwork hangs in residences and businesses throughout the country, received her Fine Art degree from University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning. Glenna’s work evokes a sense of calm with her rich color palette and soft contemporary approach to landscape painting. The basis of her style and influences are modern design and color harmony.
The use of mixed media allows flexibility in her technique with each piece. Typically, a base color is laid on paper or canvas with acrylic paint and blended with soft pastel. Many layers of this combined media may be applied to achieve the desired effect. Collaged elements, such as painted landscapes, paper, fabric, wood, leaves or metal are often incorporated to give the piece structure, texture and dimension. She works in a wide range of sizes and her paintings are uniquely presented through her framing choices.
Glenna’s studio and exhibit space is at Pendleton Art Center of Cincinnati – the area’s largest concentrated group of artists. She has participated in numerous top rated art fairs and festivals as well as gallery exhibits and has won many awards for her work.
Glenna's current work can be viewed February 1 through March 20, 2009.
Gallery hours are Tues - Fri. 10 - 5 and Saturday 11 - 5.
We are closed Sunday's & Monday's.
